Course Description
Program Description This course is for people wanting to work as an engineering technician carrying out tasks such as engineering design and quality control/assurance monitoring. Students will gain compulsory competencies in organising and analysing information, interacting with computing technology and selecting engineering materials. Stidents will also gain a range of elective competencies in areas relevant to current or intended employment, such as CAD, drafting, quality control/assurance, basic fluid power, basic mechanical design, production scheduling, cost estimating and non-destructive testing.
